If you want to build a machine, or make a part that you like, you will want a lathe.

If you are looking at this, then you want to process some metal on a lathe.

It was not so difficult to modify a lathe to be able to process steel materials.

However, some people think that you need to have enough machining equipment to do it.

Yes, it is easy if you have enough equipment, but even if you don't have equipment, you can make it with simple tools.

I myself modified this lathe even though I did not have sufficient machining equipment.

When I started to modify it, I already had a 5-axis machine.

You may not have equipments to process your metal.

In each section, I will explain the modification method and points.

Please modify the machine in a way that suits your work environment.
